Program Description:

Stellenbosch, South Africa
Spend a summer in the student-friendly city of Stellenbosch, South Africa, with AIFS! Study a variety of academic program options and earn up to 6 credtis at Stellenbosch University, located in the Cape Winelands. The university has a student population of over 19,000 and boasts state-of-the-art sports facilities, including an indoor pool, cycling studios and aerobic halls. Courses are taught in English.

Choose one program from the four available:
General Elective Program; Doing Business in Southern Africa; Public Health Care; Global Service Learning

Live in the modern and well-appointed university residence hall at the heart of campus life where you’ll share a double room with another AIFS student. You will receive breakfast daily in your residence hall, as well as welcome and farewell meals hosted by the University.

Cultural and social activities include:
  • Wine or beer craft tastings
  • Hiking
  • Visits to Cape Town and Table Mountain, the Cape of Good Hope and Robben Island
  • 3-day West Coast excursion
An optional, 6-day Garden Route excursion is also available to AIFS students.
