Learn Italian in the city that claims to speak it best: Florence. This Fall only program allows you to complete three semesters of Italian language in one, and caters to all levels of Italian speaking ability. Continuous assessment guarantees that you and your professors monitor your progress and tailor the learning process to you. One or two additional courses of your choice—with a focus on culture and society—add further dimension to your understanding of modern Italy. We recommend choosing a homestay to complement your language study and practice your Italian language skills in daily life.

Where You'll Study

The CEA Florence Center offers a variety of courses that allow you to explore all that Florence has to offer, with your professors as guides. Classes are small, taught in English, and take full advantage of the city just beyond our doors. Experiential learning opportunities outside the classroom are plentiful and bring lessons to life, exposing you to new perspectives and starting you on your journey toward global citizenship. Students will receive a transcript from the University of New Haven, CEA’s School of Record, upon completion of their program.
