Faculty-led Costa Rica: Doing Business in Costa Rica

The Program:
Doing Business in Costa Rica
is a three credit course designed for students to learn more about business in Latin America. The course will provide opportunities to visit and interact with a variety of businesses and leaders throughout Costa Rica where tourism, technology and agriculture are key economic drivers. Students will gain insights about the contemporary business and development issues in C.R. The visits to businesses will include discussion on business strategy, practices and opportunities to learn more about the sustainable development and ecotourism of Costa Rica.
 
Location Costa Rica: San Jose, Arenal region, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio
Duration January 2nd - 12th 2018 (travel component of class)
Requirement Minimum of 2.5 GPA, good disciplinary standing, at least second semester freshman status
Language of Instruction Class instruction is in English. The language of the country is Spanish. Spanish is not required for this class
Course Selection  BEINDP 491 - undergraduate level
Application Deadline September 8th 2017 unless class fills up before then.

Fee Inclusions: instruction, international flight, ground transportation, accommodations, guided tours and entrance fees, indicated group meals and international health insurance
Fee Exclusions: USA passport and photos misc incidentals, non group meals, recommended immunizations
