About HIT
Founded in 1920, Harbin Institute of Technology is a nationally recognized multi-disciplinary research and teaching institution spanning three provinces- Harbin Campus (Heilongjiang), Weihai campus (Shandong) and Shenzhen Graduate School (Guangdong). HIT is a charter member of China University Union; it's core strengths continue to be Scientific Research and Engineering Technology, with strong faculties in Management, Liberal Arts, Economics and Law. HIT is well on it's way towards achieving the goal of being a world-class university.
About Program
The summer School international program will run from July 3rd- 28th 2017. There will be an opening ceremony on July 2nd. This program offers a wide variety of English-taught courses in cultural studies, literature, economics, international relations, as well as Chinese traditional physical exercises and sports. It also provides Chinese language courses for beginners.
All courses will be held at HIT campus. Students will receive an official transcript and earn academic credits from HIT and many students can transfer these credits back to their home universities upon completion of the program.

Fee's
Harbin covers:
Tuition, in country travel, room and board.
The Center for Global Education charges: $225 application fee to student UW-W account and CISI insurance aprox. $35
Student responsible for: Transportation to O'hare, international flight to Harbin, USA passport, China Visa, incidentals.
