  • Earn up to 19 credits as a student intern abroad in Costa Rica; 2 years of college-level Spanish or the equivalent is required.
  • Live in a Costa Rican homestay.
  • Enjoy cultural and social activities such as walking tours, film club, illustrators club, a visit to the Teatro Nacional, cooking class, visits to local museums and markets and more; volunteer opportunities are also available.
  • Trips include a 3-day excursion to Arenal Volcano, Hot Springs Spa and Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, a 3-day visit to Manuel Antonio National Park and a day trip to tour a coffee plantation and visit La Marta Wildlife Refuge.
  • Optional excursions include a 2-day Sarapiquí hiking and rafting trip and 4-day visit to Bocas del Toro, Panama.
  • Tuition and transcripts provided by the Universidad Veritas.
