Program Description:

Study Abroad in Buenos Aires

Choose from a range of liberal arts and social sciences courses in subjects like business, communication, humanities, and social sciences while learning about Argentine culture through hands-on experiences. Designed for all levels of Spanish language ability, this versatile program allows you to choose electives, taught in English and Spanish that mesh with your interests. In the semester, arrive two weeks early for the Early Start option and hone your Spanish proficiency. Semester students take classes at the CEA Buenos Aires Center and have the option of selecting elective courses at Universidad Austral, our local partner institution.

Where You'll Study

Students choose to take classes at the CEA Buenos Aires Center or at both the CEA Buenos Aires Center and our partner institution, Universidad Austral. The CEA Buenos Aires Center turns the city into your classroom. Choose courses in liberal arts, social sciences, and international business, taught in English and Spanish, and designed to take advantage of the city’s rich history, culture, and political environment. Universidad Austral is one of top private universities in Argentina and top ten universities in Latin America. CEA students will take course at Austral’s Buenos Aires campus, conveniently located a short walking distance from the CEA Buenos Aires Center. Enjoy courses that best meet your academic, personal, and career interests as you explore all the city offers. Students will receive a transcript from the University of New Haven, CEA’s School of Record and - if opted for an Austral course - also from Universidad Austral upon completion of their program.
