The Program:
The International festival is held in the Italian province of Rimini. It will feature professional sets, costumes, lighting, and an orchestra and string quartet. This is a life changing-experience as students get to do opera full-time an dlearn what it's like to perform at a professional level. The schedule is demanding, with mornings dominated by Italian language lessons and afternoons consisting of voice lessons and rehearsals. Stduents will be performing in front of Italian audiences, They need to sound "Italian". The community is very rural and few people speak English, so students will truly be immersed in Italian Language and culture.
