Program Description:

LGBTQ+ Europe: History, Culture and Community
Travel to London and Amsterdam this summer with the LGBTQ+ Europe: History, Culture and Community program from AIFS. You’ll earn 3 credits from Fairfield University. Course is taught in English.

Live in double rooms in London and in Amsterdam. You will have daily breakfast provided in both cities.

Spend 21 nights in London and 3 nights in Amsterdam. 

Cultural and academic excursions include: 
  • Visit to Gay’s the World bookstore
  • Participating in the London Pride Parade
  • Day trip to Brighton, England (popularly known as the “gay capital” of the UK)
  • Visit to Amsterdam Public Library’s Pink Cabinet, home to the largest collection of LBGTQ+ literature in Europe
  • Visit to Homomonument
  • Traditional open top canal cruise
