Program Description:
AIFS Program at a Glance - Fall 2019 & Spring 2020
Sevilla
Academic Year, Fall or Spring Semester
  • Contemporary Hispanic Studies
  • Hispanic Studies Plus
Contemporary Hispanic Studies: Open to college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. No previous study of Spanish required
Hispanic Studies Plus: Open to college juniors and seniors with at least four semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent and an Advanced level of Spanish

Minimum 2.5 GPA
Courses taught in English and Spanish
Courses offered in anthropology, art history, economics, film studies, gender studies, geography, history, international relations, literature, marketing, music, photography, sociology, Spanish language and linguistics

Program fee includes tuition, housing, some meals (depending on housing option), orientation workshops, excursions and cultural activities, day trips, and more. Optional AIFS Flight package available.


Due to visa regulations we recommend you apply early
The local AIFS Resident Director and staff organize cultural activities and housing, act as a liaison between students and the university, and are available 24/7 in case of emergencies
