Program Description:

Semester in Japan

Tokyo Internship

Program Overview

Live in Tokyo, Japan’s capital city known for both its modern skyscrapers and historic temples while learning about the local language and culture. 

Highlights

  • Gain real world work experience with a full-time internship (minimum 32 hours per week) in pre-established positions for 8 weeks.
  • Measure the skills you gain during your internship and compare yourself to entry-level job applicants with access to self-assessment tools and supervisor evaluations.
  • Enjoy guaranteed pre-arranged housing in centrally located, fully-furnished apartments, student residences, or small houses which include internet and utilities.
  • Participate in cultural events included throughout the duration of the internship, such as a Japanese cooking lesson or a visit to Shinjuku Gyeon National Garden.

The Education Abroad Network (TEAN) – established in 1995 – are study abroad and intern specialists in the Asia Pacific region with semester and summer programs available in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, China and Japan.
