Program Description:
Faculty-led Panama Tropical Conservation:

The Program
Panama offers the opportunity to study real-world tropical conservation issues due to its unique physical geography, high biodiversity, and increasing population. We will travel through the Panama Canal, aid conservation efforts, live with an indigenous group, and snorkel by coral reefs. Throughout the academic travel, we will study how different groups of people are working to conserve Panama’s resources.

Duration March 22nd - 31st, 2024
Requirements Minimum of 2.5 GPA, at least second-semester freshman status, and good disciplinary standing. Consent of the instructor
Language of Instruction The instruction is in English. The native language of Panama is Spanish, but the Spanish language is not necessary.
